He was predeceased by: his brother William "Bud" Barr. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Tim Donovan (Michele) of Dallas, GA, Ben Donovan (Amy) of Lake Stevens, Washington and Christy Karr (Tony) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaci, Kolten, Elizabeth, Jamie, Tina and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Gabe, Nyla, Mario, Anthony and Elliana.
