With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Townsend of Tavares, Florida, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville L. Pencille and Rita Pencille (Burns); her in-laws, Clarence and Mary Loraine Townsend; her siblings, Orville Pencille (Helen), Robert Pencille (Joyce), Edward Pencille (Norma), Frank Pencille (Carol), John Pencille (Betty), Rita Denniston (Tom) and Joan Frederick (Douglas); and her in-law Donald Townsend.
She is survived by: her significant other Roger F. Townsend of John's R. C. Parrish; her children, Karen Claud-Janiga (Charles Janiga), Roger Eric Townsend (Stacy Peck) and Leann Dannemiller (J. Shae); her grandchildren, Mitchell Claud, Patrick Claud, Alexandria Dunham (Caleb), Nicole Sadda Roger L. (Aram), Adam Barnes (Maddison) and Jake Barnes; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Allison Dunham and Nolita Sadda; her brother Richard Pencille (Annette); and her in-laws, Shirley Townsend (late Richard), Marty Townsend (late Douglas), Bruce Townsend (Patti), Chip Townsend (Ron Silverio), Mary Bessinger (late Gordon), Dorothy Ramming (John), Ruth Ann LaPort (late David) and Jane Dent (Richard).
