He is survived by: his wife Glory Anne Carriere Prophet; his sons, Tony Prophet (Kitty) of Vancouver, BC and Jimmy Prophet (Emily); his stepchildren, Rhonda Paisley (Bill) of Nanaimo, BC, Warren Carriere (Lesa) and Tamara Greer; and his grandchildren, Justin, Joey, Jake, Patrick Prophet, Josh Paisley, Victoria Paisley, Meagan Carriere, Stephanie Carriere, Brooklyn, Ryan and James Greer.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital – Ronnie Prophet Memorial Fund.
