Richard Boas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Boas of Tavares, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Boas and Evelyn Boas (Fitch); and his sister Bonnie Gonyo (Harold). He is survived by: his close friend Rita LaMountain; his daughters, Bobbi Jo Schwetz (Jerry), Rebecca Forkey (Jay), Kim Turner, Patti Wright (Janine) and Lisa Menard (Brian); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Czandlar, Morgan (Dylan), Mathieu (Steffaney), Corry, Ryan, Kam and Shayla; his siblings, Barbara Cady (Paul) and Ronnie Boas (Alena); and his former wife Beverly Boas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The military honors will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sheldon Hill Cemetery (2155 Plank Rd, Ellenburg Depot, NY 12935).
