She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Duckett, and Luther Duckett, Sr.; her husband John William Mahaney; her siblings, Robert, Roy, Gertrude, Helen, Luther Jr. and Edison; her son Gary; her granddaughter Jessica; and her daughter-in-law Myrna.

She is survived by: her children, William Mahaney of Tavares, Karen Raichle of Tavares, Susan Cowart (Michael) of Tavares and Sara Poland of Tavares; and her grandchildren, Sean Mahaney, Jason Mahaney, Erica Poland and Corey Cowart. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
