It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nereida Sunnerklint (Tavares, Florida), who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nereida may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nereida touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardo Lopez and Francisca Gonzalez. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Silvestre and Dorinda Wexler; her grandson Paul Mathews II; and her great grandchild Brianna Julia Mathews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Steverson - Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home (226 E Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
