He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Sharon Ruer and Wayne Stofan; and his parents, John and Myrtle.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Duane Stofan (Colleen), Paula Schrandt (Ray), Douglas Wiseman and Gina Stofan; and his children-in-law, Judy Stofan and Harry Ruer. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
