She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Townsend and Maud Townsend (Smith); and her husband Eric Atkin. She is survived by: her children, Alison Horvath (Ronald) of Tavares and Nigel Atkin (British Columbia) of Victoria. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
