He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Fields and Maggie Fields (Greer); and his brothers, Carl Fields and Clifford Fields. He is survived by: his wife Helen Fields (Boggs); his children, Leon Fields (Maureen) and Regina Wood (Jesse); his grandchildren, Dusty, Nick, Stacy, Kristy, Jenna and Chris; his siblings, Eva Bailey (Duke), Gertrude Proffitt, Edna Pennington, Lois Jane Chestnut (Donnie) and Clyde Fields; and his niece Jeanene Ghent. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
