He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Urch and Bernice Bailey Nichols; his wife Patricia Nothdurft Nichols; his children, Shari Clifton (Stuart), Steven Nichols and Tricia Nichols (Trina); his grandchildren, Benjamin Clifton, William Clifton, Noah Nichols and Katelynn Nichols; and his sister Julia Nichols of Chattanooga, TN..
