We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Gerald Leon Liedl of Tavares, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gerald Leon had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gerald Leon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Liedl and Stephanie Liedl; and his sister Patricia Lucash. He is survived by: his wife Linda Liedl; his sons, Mark Liedl (Lisa) and Jeffrey Liedl (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sandra Liedl, Thomas Liedl (Miranda), Bridget LaPlante and Patrick LaPlante; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Liedl and Emilia Liedl. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His advice and guidance were always appreciated. As a friend he will be missed deeply. The fishing stories, racing stories and can't leave out our mutual dumb jokes will always stay with me.
