He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Maher and Sara Maher; his sister Joan Hemmerick (Donald); and his wife Judith Maher. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Gallick; his children, Scott Maher (Belinda), Marilyn Bader (Michael), Kimberly Hardies (Jeffery) and Sheri Schramm (Jamie Barker); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Christine Maher, Jacob, Meagan, Noah Bader, Jared Hardies and Kathryn Schramm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in his memory be made to the Chili Fire Department, 3231 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624.
