Carol Jean Preece Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2020, at the age of 86, Carol Jean Preece (Tavares, Florida), born in Hode, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmel Messer and Homer Hensley; her husband James Alex Preece; her stepfather Smokey Bryant Messer; her son Hode Edward Kirk; her grandchildren, Heather Sueanne Quesenberry and Klay Kirk; and her brother Hodivah Hensley.

She is survived by: her children, Tyson Edward Preece, Michael Dean Kirk (Kim), Linda Susan Messer (Carter), Sheila Dawn Stepp (Tom), Bruce Hensley (Jane), Melanie Carmel Preece and Andrea Kennard (Duke); her brother Dale Hensley (Thelma); her sister-in-law Bonnie Jean Hensley; and her daughter-in-law Judy Kirk.
