She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ovid Muir and Velma Muir; her daughters, Rebecca Ann Little (Barry) of Leesburg and Laura Sue Swaim of Fernandina Beach; her granddaughter Elizabeth Louise Abney (Michael) of Charlotte; and her husband John Swaim.
She was a volunteer of the American Heart Association, a Girl Scout Leader, Past President of United Methodist Women and she worked at the district superintendents office for the Terre Haute, Indiana district of the United Methodist Church.
