He is survived by: his father Gordon Abbott; his wife Carol Abbott (Katula); and his children, Karen Coultier (Rodney) of Turner, Kristine Robbins of Winthrop Maine, Joshua Abbott of Auburn and Benjamin Abbott of Oxford Maine. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
