We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2024, at the age of 88, Lessie M. Merritt of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lessie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Samson (Patricia), Skip Merritt (Jayne), Mary Ann Rau and Penny Cummings (George); and her sisters, Dorothy Waldron and Lucille. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
