He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hatch and Charlotte Chazal Hatch; his wife Pamela Carr Hatch of Ocala; his grandson John Gavin Duncan; and also, Charlotte and Ernest Hatch.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Marie (Hatch), Teresa Dawn (Hatch), Mark Tucker of Moncks Corner, SC, Candice Hatch of New Port Richey, FL and David Caraker of Palm Harbor, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
