He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kappler and Dorothy Kappler (Bour); and his wife Beverly J. "Beebe" Enold Frantz. He is survived by: his children, Kay Himonetos, Michael, Patrick and Don Kappler; his grandsons, Brandon Plein, John Himonetos and Joshua Kappler; his stepdaughters, Jane Martinelli (Steve) of New Philadelphia and Jean Frantz of New Philadelphia; his stepgranddaughters, Katie Martinelli of Columbus and Hilary Bache; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Collin Bache and Donovan Blunt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
