He is survived by: his wife Nickoletta "Nickie" Orfanides Pappas; his sister Katherine Pappas Gray; and his children, Angela Zeiss, Leah Pappas-Neil, Flora Sawyer, Alexandra Gould and Louis Jack Pappas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
