He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nicholson and Mary Nicholson (Ruccolo). He is survived by: his wife Judith Holmes; his children, Donald A. Nicholson III of Plymouth, Cheryl Ballem of Carver and Christine Dattoli of Florida; and his sister Mary Canzone (Arthur) of Cranston, RI.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
