She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Peter Hunter; her children, Laurie Ann Nieliwocki, Shirley L. Colanduoni, William C. Richards and Danny M. Richards; her stepsons, James J. Hunter and Peter A. Hunter II; her grandchildren, Alexander, Emily Nieliwocki, Donald and Brenna Colanduoni; her stepgrandchildren, Sigourney, Julian Hunter and Anthony Hunter; and her siblings, Michael Butler, Shirley Adams and Tom Butler.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Cathy's name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
