He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hillegass and Mary Hillegass; and his former wife Joanne Hillegass. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hillegass; his sister Marilyn Yungk; and his children, Carolyn Hart, Ross Hillegass (Sharon), Judith Crain (Peter Lirot), Jill McLane (Tim Barone), Josh McLane (Alejandrina) and Justin McLane (Christina).
In lieu of flowers, and honoring Al's spirit of generosity, he requested donations be made to Lakeview Church and/or AccentCare Hospice.
