He is survived by: his husband Andrew Koons; his siblings, Nancy Wilson, Annie Okerstrom-Lang (Craig) and Eric Okerstrom (Marita); and his nieces and nephews, Darcy Hurlbert (David), Brody Wilson (Erin), Carson, Sam Okerstrom-Lang, Skyler Okerstrom-Lang, Roy Theodore "Teddy" Okerstrom (Alexandria) and Elleka Okerstrom-Drew (Thomas).
