With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Duffy Thaxton of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe Mack; her parents, Denis Sr. Duffy and Carmen Bourg Duffy; and her brother Denis Duffy Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Mack Thaxton; her sons, David, Drew (Victoria) and Denny (Caroline); her grandchildren, Katy Ann, Laurel of Jessica, JC, Zoe, Sydney, Sam, Will, Charlie and Sully; her great grandchild Rose; and her brother Gerry Duffy. She is also survived by seven nieces and one nephew.
