He is survived by: his former wife Aliza Adler; his children, Joshua Adler (Pamela), Tamara Lundgren (John) and Rachel Simpson (John); and his grandchildren, Audrey Adler, Brice Adler and Colin Adler.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Philip Adler's name to the St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Foundation, 2700 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“My deepest condolences to Dr. Philip Adler's family. I am the mom of 2 beautiful sons that saw Dr. Adler starting in 1984 with my son Ruben, and then 1991 with my son, Timothy. They saw Dr. Adler for 20 years. Dr. Adler also saw my 3 grandchildren (Alex, Anthony, and Aliana) as of 2002. I did'nt know he passed away. He was a wonderful, loving, and very strict physician. I received my fair share of scolding for not following his instructions! LOL.. but we loved him very much! He is dearly missed.”
