As Penny departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Penny. Though Penny may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joel Breitstein. She is survived by: her son Joshua; her daughter-in-law Melissa Breitstein; her granddaughter Jordan; and her sister Lynn Schlossberg. She is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 3919 Moran Rd, Tampa, FL 33618. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gan Shalom Cemetery (3527 E County Line Rd, Lutz, FL 33559). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of memorial contributions, donations may be made to the Joel M. Breitstein Endowment Fund through the Top Jewish Foundation of Tampa in Penny's name.
