She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Heilman and Amy Heilman Small; and her siblings, Patricia "Pat" Lucas and William "Bill" Heilman. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Sierra, MD (Diane), Bryan Sierra, Tammy Wilson, Lisa Carter (Eddie) and Patty Zarate (John); her grandchildren, Kevin (Chrisi), Kyle (Sarah), Keith (Bridget), Kurt (Mary), Nicole (Lee), Jana (Jason), Jeff (Florencia), Eddie, John David (Kim), Michael (Caitie) and Sierra; her great grandchildren, Juliana, Jason, Natalia, Ava, Zuri, Nora, Kevin Joseph (KJ), Kilian, Kyle and Austin; her sisters, Melva Ramer and Amy Heilman; and her pet Ella.

In lieu of flowers, donations to one of her favorite charities (The Humane Society, SPCA, or The Smile Train) may be made in her memory.
