She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Lena Sheffield Jones and Wade Robert Jones; her siblings, Russell, Vincent, Doyle, Lois (Holmquist Howard Ruffner), Robert, Prieston and Corky Jones; and her grandsons, Chris and Scott Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Scruggs; her daughters, Sharon Carpenter (Ted), Janet Hoffman (Randy) and Carla Scruggs (Susan Fisher); her grandchildren, Katie Whitt (Taylor), Ryan Hoffman (Kieran O'Brien), Blake Hoffman and Sarah Hoffman (Lauren Steimle); and her great grandchildren, Jake Carpenter and Oliver Whitt.
