She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robley Rigdon; her children, Stephanie Rigdon Smoot, Rob and Mack; her brother Larry Schenck; and also Girlfriends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Kathy's memory to Open Arms, a ministry where Kathy volunteered, in care of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 Platt ST, Tampa, FL 33606.
