It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Gayle Franklin of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband David A. Franklin; her daughters, Kelly Runey Buntyn of Tampa and Katie Runey Mawn (Tommy) of Odessa; her grandchildren, Trey, Emily, Ashley and Anna; her brothers, Richard Howze (Marti) of Warner Robins, GA and Stephen Howze (Carol) of Odessa; and her nieces, Kristen Howze King of Warner Robins, GA, Kerrie Howze of Atlanta, GA, Jennifer Thomas (Greg) of Odessa and Melanie Scionti (Rich) of Odessa.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Moffitt Cancer Center or Tampa General Hospital Foundation.
