He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joe Wilson; his wife Ellen L. Wilson; his children, Jaden A. Wilson and Gabriella E. Wilson; his mother Edna C. Wilson; his sister Ebony L. Wilson; his parents-in-law, Burley Willis and Shelley Willis; his brother-in-law Kristian Willis (Annica); his nephews, Malcolm and Paris Willis; and his grandmothers, Lessie M. Wilson and Cora B. Newton. He was also cherished by Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and devoted Friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the children's education funds.
