He is survived by: his wife Ruby Rudd Pettis; his daughter Glenda Pettis Haught; his siblings, Dutch Pettis, Carson Pettis, Irene Pettis Adkinson, Francis Pettis Beaudin and Carl Pettis Jr.; his children, Tim Pettis and Myra Pettis; his daughter-in-law Donna Lewis Pettis; his grandchildren, Nathan Pettis, Aaron Haught, Jordan Pettis and Philip Haught; and his great grandchildren, Emery Haught, Eloise Haught, Sawyer Pettis, Eli Pettis, Ethan Pettis, Camber Pettis and Mya Pettis.
