She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Fred David (Kimberly), John Stevens (Elizabeth), Joseph Britt (Danelle) and Virginia Barksdale Mansolillo; her grandchildren, Daniel Newsome, John David Barksdale, Maria Frances Mansolillo, Anna Lise Barksdale and David Britt Barksdale; and her husband David Milton Barksdale.
