Esther Ruth Billups Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Ruth Billups (Tampa, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Michael Billups; and her parents, Matthew Fordoms and Queen Vashiti Fordoms. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Simmiel Spillman, Stara Brown (William), Jimeka Spillman (Terry), Quaisha and Cleveland Russ; her great great grandchild Jalani McCollough; her siblings, Albert Fordoms (Deborah J.), Gerard Fordoms, Sarah Lee, Mary Bell (Anthony) and Veronica Johnson; her close friends, Tyrone, Bobby, Baby Ruth and Pat; her goddaughter Wanda Green; and also Mario. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the First Baptist Church of College Hill (3838 N 29th St, Tampa, FL 33610).
