She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lynda J. Moore (Myers), Kenneth E. Moore and Maureen R. Vitale (Grams). She is survived by: her parents, Sherrie L. Vitale (Moore) and James M. Vitale; her siblings, Jay Pepino (Vitale), Amanda Traverso-Pavlovsky (Michael), Chelsea Traverso and Marissa Traverso; her grandfather Ronald A. Vitale; her close friend Brianna McBratney; and her aunts, Annamarie DeSimone (Stephen), Lisa Borghese (Michael), Susan Conanan (Samuel), Barbara Hargadon and Valerie Pilla (Tony).

Because of Elena's generous heart, in lieu of flowers we believe she would have loved to know that a donation would be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
