He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Johnson and Helen Johnson; and his siblings, Eleanor Dial, Bob Jr and Cork Jr (Leo.).
He is survived by: his spouse Mary Catherine Wonder (Katie); his children, Ed, Jr. and Patti (Jim Rhodes) of Lake Lure; his granddaughters, Gwyn Rhodes of Tallahassee, Michele (Matt Miller) of Tampa and Ashley Catrett of Temple Terrace, Florida; his great grandchildren, Adrianne Catrett and Austin Catrett of Temple Terrace; and his sisters-in-law, Dottie Stellings of Washington, Patty Hopewell of Washington and Mary Gene Johnson of Washington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Cemetery, Veale Creek Cemetery, and Oak Grove Cemetery (all in Washington, IN) and Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care.
