He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Pomraning and Dorothy Pomraning (Miller); his brother Ronnie Pomraning; his sister-in-law Millie; and his brother Leslie Pomraning.

He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Charlie Lartz (Julie), Christine Lartz (Steve Ward) and Cheryl Abel (Rene); his grandchildren, Angellina, Jessica, Chuck, Colton (Lauren), Tyler (Shaina), Ashley, Jesse and JoAnna; his great grandchildren, Jayda, Devyn, Laila and Lillianna; and his siblings, Garry Pomraning (Deb), Diane Smithson (John) and Jane Moser (Curtis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
