He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Leona Duke (Dodd); his wife Dr. Katherine Billingsley Duke; his siblings, John, Harold Duke, Betty Cairns (Duke) and Nina Duke; and his grandson Austin Duke.
He is survived by: his son Donald Edward Duke, Jr.; and his siblings, David Duke (Pat) and Pat (Duke) Wilgus (Bob).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Summitville Cemetery (462 Summitville Rd, Manchester, TN 37355).
