With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Britton Bernard of Tampa, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Helen Louise McSwain; his parents, Bill Bernard and Donie Bernard; his brother Bobby Bernard; and his grandson Jimmy Stokes.

He is survived by: his brother Terry Bernard (Liz); his daughters, Debaney Benton (Duane), Janeen Stokes (Lamar) and Cherlyn Bernard-Stokes (Robin); and his grandchildren, Britaney Dziedzic (Joe), Kyle Stokes (Laci), Delaina Benton, Jason Stokes (Jana), Jacob Stokes (Laura Nell), Jesse Stokes, Cristalyn Bates (Peter), Clarissa Stokes and Cessaley Ray (Brian). He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
