She was predeceased by: her husband L. David Shear; and her brothers, John Albert Mixon and George Michael Casey (Joan). She is survived by: her stepsons, Stephen Shear (Dawn Langnes) and Jeffrey Shear (Kelly); her siblings, William Wilson Casey (LeAnn) and Thomas Robert Casey (Anna); her grandchildren, Taylor Shear, Laine Shear, Sam Shear and Marin Shear; her niece Nina Gerson; and her nephew Barry Frank.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom or a charity of one's choice in Casey's name.
