Barbara Jean Roysdon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Roysdon of Tampa, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Rudzinski and Frances Rudzinski (Szutenbach); her husband Jackie Roysdon; and her siblings, Marie Cole, Patricia Rudzinski, Richard, Sr. and Edmund.
She is survived by: her children, James Roysdon (Teresa Williams) of Tampa Florida and Deborah Roysdon (Sherry) of Fortville Indiana; and her grandchildren, Ashley Moore (John), Cameron Price-Roysdon, Kylee Price-Roysdon, Arleigh, Emmett, Ivie Moore, Mikah and Riley Jack Woolridge.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity in her name. Barbara gave so much to many veteran, Indian Schools, and Catholic societies and charities, including the American Cancer Foundation and the Jack Roysdon Memorial Foundation.
