She is survived by: her parents, Irvine King and Myrtle King; her husband Eric Velazquez; her children, Erica and Aydan; and her siblings, Joan King-Brown, Yvonne Williams (Nevil), Sonia Holness (Phillip), Rohan King (Kelly) and Shauna King (Daniel). She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, loving mother-in-law, father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024).
