It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen James Young in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Collins Young of Florida and Harry Young Allen; his siblings, Yvonne Carter, Harriet Young, Louaider Harris, Patricia Young, Cynthia Smith, Iris Young, Thomas Young and Curtis Young; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Anderson, Andrew Coleman and John Lee Sr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Doris Anderson, Jean Thigpen (Arthur), Myrdel Coleman, Joann Hunter (George) and Barbara Lee; and his goddaughter Deon Hunter. He is also survived by 55 nieces and nephews, over 125 great nieces and nephews, and approximately 210 great, great nieces and nephews as well as a host other relatives and friends.
