It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelly Contreras of Tamarac, Florida, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestina Rodriguez and Angel Fernandez; her son Dennis Contreras; her siblings, Ruben, Charlie, Angelo Fernadez and Aida Prevallett; and her daughter-in-law Rose Montalvo Contreras.

She is survived by: her sister Ada Menutti; and her children, Edward Contreras Jr. and Dianna Contreras. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
