She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestina Rodriguez and Angel Fernandez; her son Dennis Contreras; her siblings, Ruben, Charlie, Angelo Fernadez and Aida Prevallett; and her daughter-in-law Rose Montalvo Contreras.

She is survived by: her sister Ada Menutti; and her children, Edward Contreras Jr. and Dianna Contreras. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
