With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katrine Sardinia of Tamarac, Florida, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Katrine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katrine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her sister O'Nita Mitchell; and her father Tony. She is survived by: her husband Mel Mitchell; her son Tony Sardinia; her daughter-in-law Jessica Rhines (Tom); her grandchild Meigan Sardinia; and her caregiver Maylin.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 11:30 AM at the Alexander-Levitt Funeral Home (8135 W McNab Rd, Tamarac, FL 33321). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 S State Rd 7, Wellington, FL 33449). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
