It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William E. Powers Jr. (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Bill Powers (Jennifer) and Emily Downing (Rhett); his granddaughter Charlotte Downing; and his siblings, David Powers (Mary Janice) and Virginia Powers. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in Bill's honor to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches.
