He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jenkins Bixler III and Cissy Bixler Proctor (Stewart); the mother of his children JoAnn Bixler; his children, Katherine Bixler Oberlies (Michael) and John Yates Bixler (Carson); the mother of his children Jill Bixler; his granddaughters, Baelynn Bixler and Mae Oberlies; his siblings, John Calhoun Bixler (Donna), Jane Bixler Conn (Randy) and Geraldine Brown Bixler Robbins (Danny); his nieces, Julie Conn Christesen (Eric) and Diana Bixler; his nephew Luke Bixler (Cassie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah, Eleanor, Aubree, Melody and John.
