She was predeceased by: her parent Isis. She is survived by: her daughter Avis Hannon Payne; her grandchildren, Stephanie Bruce and Willie Bernard Bruce, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Turiq Bruce, Quentin Bruce, Brean Mathis, Alan Gibson and Xavier Gibson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Strong & Jones Funeral Home (629 W Brevard St, Tallahassee, FL 32304). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (501 W Orange Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32310).
