He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven A. Shackelford Sr. and Annie Ethel Anderson Shackelford; and his sister Mary Francis Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shirey Shackelford; his sister Andrea Tahsequah; his daughters, Lynn S. Peacock and CaraLee Starnes; his granddaughters, Christy Schnell (Noah) and Leslie Peacock; his daughters, Taylor Noriega (John) and Jessie Givens (Zack); his grandson Carter Shackelford Starnes; his great grandchildren, Lyla, Hunter, Sydney Schnell and Christian Alexander Noriega; and his brother-in-law George Kelly. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Steve's memory to Big Bend Hospice or Saint Paul's United Methodist Church.
