It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Mitchell Wooten of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Clifton Mitchell and Wyatt Barrett Mitchell, Sr.; her husband Charles Lesley Wooten; her daughter Shawn Spigner; and her siblings, Kathryn Patton, Harold Mitchell and Rosemary Mitchell.

She is survived by: her children, Grayson Hall (Laura), John (Anna Kathryn), Spencer Hall, Casey, Hunter, Harli, Barton Hall, Gracen, Jackson (Kathryn) and Leslie; her grandchildren, Shā, Lauren, Caroline, Strom and Ashley; and her siblings, Mona Johnian, Curtis Mitchell, Beverly Dendy and Olivia Mitchell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In place of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Bible Society to continue her legacy of giving, spreading God's love, and reading.
